Hutzler Law, PLLC, trading as Hutzler Law, is a plaintiff-side personal injury law firm based in Phoenix, Arizona, United States.[1] Founded in 2018 by attorney Jason Hutzler, a former insurance adjuster and insurance defense attorney, it represents people injured through the negligence of others and the families of people killed in accidents, with a focus on car accident claims.[2][3] The firm works on a contingency fee basis with free consultations, and serves Phoenix, Maricopa County and the wider state from a single Phoenix office.[1][4]

Hutzler Law has placed in AZ Big Media's Ranking Arizona list of top personal injury law firms, a public-voting business poll, from 2022 to 2025,[5][6][7] and holds an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.[2]

Hutzler Law was founded by Jason Hutzler, who spent about six years as an insurance adjuster handling personal injury and wrongful death claims and then worked as a defense attorney for insurance companies after his admission to the State Bar of Arizona in 2011.[3] He has said he started the firm because he wanted to represent injured people rather than help insurance companies "stay rich".[8] The Better Business Bureau records the business as having started on 30 October 2018.[2] The firm is organized as an Arizona professional limited liability company.

In 2022 the firm was named in the personal injury category of PHOENIX Magazine's first Top Lawyers publication, according to a press release it issued,[9] and Hutzler was profiled in Arizona Foothills Magazine.[8] The same year the firm placed sixth in Ranking Arizona's personal injury list; it placed fourth in 2024 and tenth in 2025.[5][6][7]

Hutzler Law works on a contingency fee basis. Consultations are free, there is no retainer or hourly billing, and fees are charged only if damages are recovered through a settlement or verdict; the firm's website says its fees "will never be more than what you earn".[1] Service is offered in English and Spanish, and the firm's website has a Spanish-language version.[1]

The firm's marketing states that it has "recovered millions" for clients across Arizona. The figure is self-reported and has not been independently verified.[1]

Jason Hutzler is the firm's founder, owner and lead attorney, and its only publicly listed attorney. He holds a B.A. from Arizona State University and a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law.[3] The rest of the team are paralegals and administrative staff.[10]
